Up & Away Venue Hire Terms & Conditions
(effective 04 June 2024)
1. Booking and Payment:
A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is required upon booking to secure the venue.
Full payment is due 30 days prior to the event date.
Payments can be made via Bank Deposit, Via or Mastercard.
2. Cancellation and Refunds:
The deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations made 90 days prior to the event date will result in a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
Cancellations made after this period will result in no refund.
3. Accommodation:
Overnight Accommodation options are available onsite and must be booked separately from the venue hire.
Minimum guest numbers apply to each accommodation.
Check-in time is 3:00pm, and check-out time is 10:00am.
Additional charges may apply for early check-in or late check-out.
4. Capacity and Use of Facilities:
The client agrees to adhere to the maximum capacity limits set by the venue for both the event space and accommodation.
The venue reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate the event if capacity limits are exceeded or if there is a breach of venue policies.
The Client understands that at no point is the home (108 Coochie Road), its contents or facilities to be used for the purpose of the event.
5. Damage and Liability:
The client is responsible for any damage caused to the venue or accommodation during the hire period.
The venue reserves the right to charge for any damages incurred.
The venue is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings.
6. Noise and Behaviour:
Clients and guests are expected to respect noise levels and local ordinances, especially in the accommodation areas.
Clients and guests are to adhere to a 10kph speed limit when entering and exiting the property boundaries.
Clients and guests are not to enter the other areas on the property including but not limited to equipment sheds, paddocks, or storage facilities.
The venue reserves the right to intervene if noise levels become disruptive to other guests or neighbours.
7. Catering and Alcohol:
Catering services are not included in the venue hire.
Clients must provide all beverages and ice to be served at their event.
Clients must adhere to any restrictions regarding the serving of alcohol, including licensing laws and venue policies.
All trash including household waste, recyclables, and refundable containers related to the event must be removed by the vendor or disposed of in designated containers. Clients will be charged an additional fee for failure to adhere to rubbish disposal procedures.
8. Vendor Services:
Clients are responsible for coordinating and hiring all necessary vendors for their event, including caterers, decorators, service staff and entertainment.
Vendors must provide proof of insurance and adhere to venue regulations.
9. Insurance:
The venue is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during the event.
10. Indemnity: - The client indemnifies the venue against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the event.
11. Jurisdiction: - Any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the jurisdiction of Queensland.
A copy of these terms and conditions will be provided to you with your booking confirmation quote. Please carefully read through the terms and conditions, sign and return a copy to us along with your deposit. Your venue hire is not confirmed until both the deposit and signed terms and conditions are received.
