Up & Away Braeside Elopement Package Terms and Conditions
By securing a booking, you agree to the following terms:
Booking and Payment
Weekday (Monday - Thursday) Elopement Package Price: $850 plus GST
Weekend (Friday - Sunday) Elopement Package Price: $1250 plus GST
A $450 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance must be paid 14 days prior to your elopement date. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of your booking without refund of the deposit.
Payments can be made via bank transfer or other approved methods as specified by your invoice from Up & Away Braeside.
Package Inclusions
Your elopement package includes:
A Legals Only ceremony officiated by Celebrations with Stevens.
Use of the rustic arbour, antique wrought iron signing table, and Bluetooth speaker for client-provided music.
A grazing board, small cake, and bubbles for a toast after the ceremony.
Access to the property for one hour following the ceremony for photography.
Up to 6 guests maximum, including witnesses.
Time Slots and Duration
Available time slots are: 8am-10am, 10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm, 4pm-6pm
Bookings are accepted on a first in, best dressed basis.
Your booking is for a maximum of 2 hours, which includes the ceremony, post-ceremony refreshments, and photography time.
Additional time on the property is not permitted unless previously arranged in writing and may incur additional fees.
Delay and Waiting Clause
Your allocated 2-hour time slot is strictly enforced to ensure a seamless experience for all couples. Punctuality is essential to allow enough time for the ceremony, post-ceremony refreshments, and photography.
Ceremony Duration: The Legals Only ceremony requires a minimum of 40 minutes to complete, including legal formalities and signing of documents.
Late Arrival: If the couple and/or guests arrive late, the time lost cannot be extended or recovered.
If the delay does not allow enough time to perform the full ceremony within your booked time slot, Up & Away Braeside reserves the right to cancel the elopement without refund.
In the event of a cancellation due to late arrival:
The couple will be offered a Legals Only ceremony at the celebrant’s home or office at a later mutually agreed-upon date.
All other inclusions of the elopement package will be forfeited, including access to the venue, grazing board, cake, bubbles, and photography time.
We strongly recommend allowing plenty of time for travel and preparation to ensure your special day proceeds smoothly.
No exceptions will be made for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Cancellation and Refunds
The $450 deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
If you cancel more than 14 days prior to your elopement, you are not required to pay the remaining balance.
If you cancel within 14 days of your elopement date, no refunds will be provided, and the full package price will be charged.
In the unlikely event that Up & Away Braeside needs to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of all payments, including the deposit, will be provided.
Weather and Contingency Plans
The elopement package is designed for outdoor ceremonies in the gardens of Up & Away Braeside.
In the event of severe weather, a suitable indoor location on the property will be provided, if available.
Guest Numbers and Conduct
The package includes up to 6 guests maximum, including witnesses.
The couple is responsible for ensuring that their guests adhere to all property rules and guidelines, including:
No littering or damage to property.
Respect for the natural environment and wildlife.
Compliance with any instructions from Up & Away Braeside staff.
Photography and Property Access
The package includes one hour of photography access on the property.
Photography must be conducted within the agreed time frame.
Drone photography is permitted if arranged in advance, but only to the last booking of the day. The drone operator must not interfere, capture on video, or disturb any other clients on property. The drone operator must adhere to all relevant safety regulations.
Liability and Indemnity
Up & Away Braeside is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage incurred by the couple or their guests while on the property.
The couple agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Up & Away Braeside from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of the property.
Music and Noise Restrictions
The package includes use of a Bluetooth speaker for music provided by the client.
Music must be kept at a reasonable volume to avoid disturbance to neighbouring properties.
Legal Requirements
The Legals Only ceremony will be conducted by Celebrations with Stevens.
It is the couple’s responsibility to ensure that they have met all legal requirements for marriage in Australia, including providing the necessary documentation to the celebrant within the required time frames.
Property Rules
No smoking is allowed on the property except in designated areas.
Alcohol consumption is limited to the provided bubbles for a toast. Additional alcohol is not permitted unless pre-approved.
If either the client or any of their guests appear intoxicated upon arrival for to the property. Up and Away Braeside or the Celebrant reserve the right to refuse service and request the client and their guests to immediately vacate the property forfeiting their reservation and all payments.
Pets are not allowed on the property unless prior written approval is obtained. Any pets allowed on property must be kept leashed and maintained by the client or one of their guests. Client must pick after their pet.
Changes to the Booking
Requests to change your booking time or date must be made in writing at least 14 days in advance.
Date changes are subject to availability and may incur a rescheduling fee.
